Area residents interested in learning better financial management, strategies for improving credit and reducing debt, and helping their children become lifelong savers will want to take advantage of free MoneySmart workshops at locations throughout Escambia County.

The sessions are free and open to the public. Each session offers games and activities for children to help instill a framework for smart money management, and a thorough program for adults on topics ranging from family budgeting and debt reduction, to credit repair and purchasing a home.

Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend. All presentations are taught by certified MoneySmart volunteers.

• Every Tuesday Evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Location varies.

To attend, you MUST reserve a spot! The course will be cancelled if there are not at least three registered to attend.
